Steps to create password protected folder

STEP 1 : Create a New folder and rename it as you wish.(eg: “shaun”)

STEP 2: Now copy all the data and files to be protected onto this folder

STEP 3: Right click on the folder and select Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder.

STEP 4: After the compressed folder is created with the same name,open it. You will be able to see the original folder inside .

STEP 5: Go to File menu and select the option Add a password.Here you can enter your desired password and you are done with the first part of setting up a password.

STEP 6: Right-click this password protected folder and select Properties.Select the optionHidden and press OK. Now the folder is hidden.
