Last Year we saw Razor Blade and MSI release laptops which break the notion that Gaming laptops have to be 2" thick and bulky. they introduced laptops with same power under the hood as an alienware but with an chasis resembling Mac Book pro. Its the new year and at CES, Gigabyte has stepped up the ante. They just introduced their Gaming Laptop Aorus X7.
17.3-inch Aorus X7 has a height of just 0.9 inches (22.9mm), and weighs 6.9 pounds (2.9kg). That’s about the same size as the Razer Blade Pro, but Aorus packs in twice the graphical power, with two of the same Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M GPUs found on the Blade Pro. By comparison, Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display has a height of 0.71 inches (18mm) and weighs 4.46 pounds (2.0kg). That’s about the same size as the Razer Blade Pro, but Aorus packs in twice the graphical power, with two of the same Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M GPUs found on the Blade Pro.
The signature theme of the stunning chassis emphasizes a style that blends minimalism and fluidic sculpture. According to the company, they describe it in following words

Aorus X7 has also introduced a new cooling technology Thermal + cooling technology which introduces combination of 5 intakes, 4 Air vents and 2 fans to deliver a cooling technology which enables them to have this much power under a laptop so slim!

For Graphics performance, It has two Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M GPUs cards! The pair of GTX 765M graphics chips comes with a ravishing P7393 in 3DMark 11 which you can be sure can run almost all games in high resolution. Impressively, the X7 packs two 512GB SSDs as well a 1TB hard drive -- a massive 2TB of space. Furthermore, it has four memory slots that can fit up to 32GB RAM.
