Paypal introduces Seamless online payments

Paypal is one of the biggest payment platforms out there which is used by millions of users worldwide for their online shopping. However, currently if customers want to use paypal, they have to leave the merchant's website and go to Paypal where they enter the details and after payment is confirmed, they are redirected back to the merchant's website.

Paypal has introduced In-Context checkout, to deliver a simplified payment solution across all devices and platforms. With this service, instead of being directed to Paypal's website, customer need not leave the Merchant's site for payment. Instead they authorise the transaction by logging on to Paypal using the company's website. Even when customers switch devices, their experience on the eCommerce site doesn't change. In-Context Checkout delivers the same experience across smartphones, tablets, and PCs, making it smoother than ever to check out with PayPal. This service is currently being tested just across a few retailers but Paypal plans to introduce it across multiple eCommerce platforms soon. Paypal is also planning to bring new features like support for authorization capture, recurring payments,  reference transactions adn adaptive payments.

Facebook sponsored stories to be phased out

It seems like the Social network giant is finally listening to what its users are saying  and has revealed that they will be phasing out their controversial Sponsored Stories by April 9 this year.

Facebook’s Sponsored Stories ad campaign, which saw user actions on Facebook being converted into advertisements for various companies, will be phased out of existence a little later this year. This was criticised heavily by privacy groups as well as users and now facebook has moved back on this feature. These ads were the subject of a class-action lawsuit in 2011 for which Facebook agreed to a $20 million settlement in that suit. The amount might not be huge but the company's image took a dent and amidst reports that Facebook's Monthly active users are declining, facebook decided to roll back this feature. We, for one are pleased that it won't be appearing in our news feeds anymore!

GigaByte Aorus X7 : Ultimate Gaming Laptop

Last Year we saw Razor Blade and MSI release laptops which break the notion that Gaming laptops have to be 2" thick and bulky. they introduced laptops with same power under the hood as an alienware but with an chasis resembling Mac Book pro. Its the new year and at CES, Gigabyte has stepped up the ante. They just introduced their Gaming Laptop Aorus X7.



 17.3-inch Aorus X7 has a height of just 0.9 inches (22.9mm), and weighs 6.9 pounds (2.9kg). That’s about the same size as the Razer Blade Pro, but Aorus packs in twice the graphical power, with two of the same Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M GPUs found on the Blade Pro. By comparison, Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display has a height of 0.71 inches (18mm) and weighs 4.46 pounds (2.0kg). Samsung Galaxy S5 Concept Phones

Well, with all the leaks and rumors surfacing everyday, it becomes confusing sometimes to figure about how the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 mobile will look. Well, we are covering some really nice concept phones for you today which you can check out. Remember, all these are concept phones, and actual products  might not be anywhere similar to these, but take  a look at these really cool Samsung Galaxy S5 concept designs.

1.Hasan Kamyak's Samsung Galaxy S5 Design

Designer Hasan Kaymak is know in tech circles as someone who often comes up with concept models for HTC handsets. That seems apparent after taking a look at his concept for the Samsung Galaxy S5.

This design made by him is really sleek and does remind readers of the HTC one phones. That's not a bad thing as HTC one was praised by almost everyone for their ground breaking design.

A interesting thing about this design is that Hasan has completely designed what touchwiz will look like. This is  good addition to the design that he has conceptualized for Galaxy S5. The device would include TouchWiz 5 running on top of Android 4.4, and instead of a notifications bar on the lock screen, actionable notifications would pop up under the user's picture.

The notifications shade still comes down with a swipe from top to bottom. This concept offers support for voice commands.

2. Metal Body Samsung Galaxy S5 Concept

Here is another great S5 concept with metal body. This Galaxy S5 concept was designed by folks at 91Mobiles.




This is an interesting design which features a full metal body, a waterproof and dust proof body (without any active variant, out of box for all S5 Variants). It sports 4 GB RAM,  2Ghz Octa-core CPU, a 5.2-inch display, 3200 mAh battery, a 16 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.


This concept features Android 5.0 OS but recent developments suggest Android 4.4 Kit Kat as the OS of Galaxy S5 as Key lime pie is not expected to launch before end of 2014.

3. Flexible Display concept 

Another interesting concept. this is shown at the website GalaxSS5info. What's different here?



Not much but the fact that it uses a flexible displays. This is an interesting design  and Samsung already has the technology, this is not a bad thing to expect on the next flagship. However, the issue of mass producing these displays with current technology might make them miss the cut this time for the Samsung flagship Galaxy phone. Also, the mass acceptance of these displays is questionable.



The concept has flexible Flexible OLED YOUM Display of 5.3-inches in size,  that wraps around the edges. This display technology will change the way you use the smartphone.  The screen is extended side which removes the physical buttons from the side. Edge to edge display is back? This concept has Aluminium Uni-body Construction and a waterproof and shockproof body. Waterproof body is something that will be admired by every fan of Samsung.  Under the hood, there is 2GHz Exynos 5 Octa-Core processor which is meant to deliver a smooth experience.  In the imaging part, there is a 16MP Carl Zeiss Primary Camera in the device.

With Galaxy S5 supposed to be launched at MWC 2014, We only have waut a few weeks now and we do expect a lot more real Samsung Leaks and specifications emerging.

Samsung Galaxy Camera 2

Looks like Samsung does not want to wait for CES to showcase its latest Galaxy Camera. Its not such a big idea after all its quite easy for a device to get lost in ocean of new innovations and products.  Also note that this is different than NX30 which was also revealed along with Galaxy Camera 2. So what's different?

  The new features of the Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 include the lens getting an upgrade. It is now  16 MP camera with f/2.8 instead of f/4.1.Samsung has also bumped a flexible Xenon flash Other features getting a bump are  an upgraded quad-core processor at 1.6 Ghz (unknown ARM Make) , 2000mAh battery ( up from 1600mAh) and also Jelly bean 4.3. Connectivity also seemed to have been taken care of with WiFi a/b/g/n, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth® 4.0, NFC options thrown in.
