So, are you one of the tech experts in circle. After reading our blogs, i guess u must be regarded as a Tech Guru bu your friends and family. As the local PC guru you're probably very used to friends and family asking for help with their computer problems, yet having no idea how to clearly describe what's going on. I remember, many of my friends calling me on phone describing their problems. Now i have to explain them everything which can be quite frustrating both for me and my friends, if they are a novice computer user. It's frustrating, but Microsoft feels your pain, and Windows 7  includes an excellent new solution in the Problem Steps Recorder.

When any app starts misbehaving under Windows 7 then all your friends need do is click Start, type PSR and press Enter. When you are having trouble and want some help from a tech expert, you can also do the same. after pressing Enter, Problem Steps Recorder window will open up.

From the Window of Problem Step recorder, click on Start Record.
When you do, the application interface changes slightly, to indicate that it's recording and provide a few additional options, including Pause Record, Stop Record, and Add Comment

You or your friends requesting your help should then do your work  and Problem Steps Recorder will record every click and keypress, take screen grabs, and package everything up into a single zipped MHTML. There is an option of manual screen shot as well, if you fell something is important. Comments can also be added to the screenshots taken. When you're done, click Stop Record. Problem Steps Recorder will prompt you to save a ZIP file on your desktop. Give it a name and click Save. After saving, just take the zip file and attach it and send it to the tech expert. Believe me, it will save hours of time. And you have indeed helped your helper.
